What does a typical day working for AIClub look like for you?

I handle most of the social media components of AIClub. So that involves creating content for our feeds and trying to make our presence bigger online. Apart from social media posts, I also make flyers, design email templates, and other promotional content such as videos, booklets, content for our website, etc!

What encouraged you to choose AIClub?

I found the concept of Artificial Intelligence very fascinating and unique. I didn't know much about AI but I knew it was big, and I knew I would have fun working in a company where I'd get to learn more about it and see how it can be used internally and in our services as an education provider. It was the potential of how much I could learn and grow that made me want to choose AIClub.

What do you love most about your job?

I love that I get to be creative, and keep implementing new aspects or skills that I learn into my job. Marketing is a career with expansive possibilities; you could do just about anything to market your brand. At AIClub I get to try out multiple different methods and things I hadn't even considered before! It makes me feel that I'm genuinely growing as an individual and as an employee in this field.

What's the best advice you've ever gotten?

That it's okay to have what are considered "small" goals and dreams, as long as you're happy with yourself. That you shouldn't have to feel like you always need to aim for bigger, grander things.

What does success mean to you?

I think that if you feel content in yourself and who you are as an individual, that's success.

What's a unique or interesting fact that most people would not know about you?

I am an introvert! People assume that I'm extroverted because I do love talking to people and having conversations and discussions-- but I'm actually quite introverted at the end of the day. It's just something that you know yourself, I guess!

Who inspires you?

People that work relentlessly to protect our environment and our animals!

What's your all-time favorite movie and why?

I'm one of those people that can't choose a favorite movie. But I like emotional and introspective movies that make me think (and sometimes cry) for a long time afterwards. Something like The Theory of Everything.
